I was worried the thickness would make it tough to swaddle, but it drapes so softly and lets me feed her right through the night without the fuss. The fabric holds warmth without feeling heavy, which is exactly what our middle-of-the-night routine needed.
My husband finally got a full night's sleep because the baby didn't kick the blanket off during the 2 a.m. feed. The fabric is thick enough to feel secure but light enough that she doesn't overheat, and it's genuinely the softest thing we own now.
The thickness is exactly what I hoped for—baby stays cozy during middle-of-the-night feeds without getting overheated, and it moves with her instead of feeling like a stiff cocoon. Washing it a few times already and it's kept that softness, which honestly surprised me for a blanket this sturdy.
