The fabric is so much softer than the typical scratchy muslin, and the extra-large size means I can actually get a proper swaddle even with a wiggly newborn. They've held up beautifully after several washes already.
These were soft right out of the package, which is exactly what a newborn needs—no breaking-in period at all. They're also generously sized, so I can get a snug wrap even with a wiggly baby, and they've held up great after multiple washes.
